Balt Sun to Arrogant Anthony “BAD MOVE”

Baltimore Sun to Arrogant Anthony Brown; “BAD MOVE” Anthony refused to apologize to the people of Maryland for the Health Care Disaster and the Sun shames him for his arrogance.
All politics is personal and the Baltimore Sun shames Anthony Brown for forgetting the average people. For Sharon and Dave Filicko of Bel Air Anthony Brown’s health Care mess is a very real personal problem. Sharon had to skip her January chemotherapy because Arrogant Anthony Brown screwed up her insurance.

Brown LIED on WBAL News on Healthcare

It is not Anthony Brown’s failure that should worry the voters as much as the lies he tells to cover it up.

Everyone has problems and we all know IT projects can be a risk. But when there is a problem the real questions revolve around was the person honest and were they able to find a solution and deal with the problem. In the Maryland Heath Care Disaster We have a real problem in that what Anthony Brown said to WBAL’s Jayne Miller in “Brown regroups with I-Team over health care website”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bl4lJzq1yk
Brown stated;
“At no time did the reports say that we’ve got a problem”.
Please review the video starting at 1:12.

Now the Washington Post shows he was lying!

This is directly contradicted by the Washington Post article of January 11, 2014 that reviewed thousands of pages of documents:

Evidence that Reports of Risk started a year earlier

“The first came in the fall of 2012, just over a year before the exchange was to launch. Auditors from the Portland, Maine-based firm of BerryDunn found that exchange officials were missing early deadlines to begin building the IT backbone for the public Web site, known as the Maryland Health Connection.”
‘BerryDunn said in a PowerPoint presentation delivered to senior state officials in December. Five of the presentation’s slides began with: “There is a risk . . .”’

More Bad News 8 months before Role Out

“There is also no overall Master Project Plan and schedule that is being utilized to manage the milestones and activities necessary for the entire program effort,” BerryDunn warned in a Feb. 25 report.”

Reports of Problems Ignored just before Roll Out

“On a conference call at the start of the final week of September, senior aides gave O’Malley a high-level summary of expected troubles with the exchange.
The Web site would not allow some people to check for subsidies or to select plans, but everyone should at least be able to log on, he was told, according to several aides.
The governor ended the call, said John Griffin, his chief of staff, saying the state should “move forward.”
But two days later, Griffin requested that a roomful of aides to the governor and Brown vote on whether to proceed. Most gave the Oct. 1 launch a green light. The next day, O’Malley smiled as Obama visited Prince George’s County and praised state leaders for being ready to roll.”

Anthony Brown Front Runner Status Slipping

Today after Church I was speaking with friends and neighbors about politics and Jolene Ivey. I mentioned that I like helping underdogs like Jolene. Then someone said:

“I’m not sure Jolene is the underdog anymore, did you see today’s Washington Post.”

I am sure you will read it for yourself but it is an ugly story of gross incompetence and warnings given and State Officials including Anthony Brown ignoring them. For instance:

“But two days later, Griffin requested that a roomful of aides to the governor and Brown vote on whether to proceed. Most gave the Oct. 1 launch a green light. The next day, O’Malley smiled as Obama visited Prince George’s County and praised state leaders for being ready to roll.”

It also includes choice quotes such as:

“He pasted in a line from U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski’s endorsement of the lieutenant governor the day before: “While we’re fighting to save Obamacare, we know that in Maryland we have a health exchange that’s ready to go because of Anthony Brown,” the Maryland Democrat said.”

So now the question is Just who is the Underdog now?

Sensible Jolene vs Angry Anthony PG is Up for Grabs

Jolene the almost perfect Mom of 5 next door.

This year sees Anthony Brown running for Governor opposed by Doug Gansler. At first glance it would seem that Brown has the edge over Gansler. Brown is the Lieutenant Governor and has Governor Marty O'Malley supporting him strongly. Brown who managed to avoid getting caught up in the scandal of his mentor Senator Ulysses Curie's FBI investigation and emerged unscathed in the Jack and Leslie "Money in the Bra" Johnson arrests and convictions is a wily PG County pro. But Gansler made a move that no one expected. He named Jolene Ivey as his running mate.
Anthony Brown and Jolene Ivey: Prince George’s will have more clout in 2014 race

Angry Anthony looking like that crazy guy yelling at you in traffic.

Anthony is wily but Jolene is brilliant. Anthony is slippery but Jolene is scrupulously honest. Now some will clam that Anthony has the sense to come in out of the rain but Jolene Ivey has that very uncommon Common Sense. Anthony Brown has gone far on a tact that is a combination of bullying, bluster, and bravado but Jolene is the perfect counter to Angry Anthony through Honesty, Decency, and Hard Work.
Jolene is an exemplary Wife, Mother of 5 boys, and Roll Model. Anthony has a muddled family situation with more than a few people scratching their heads over the timeline of the great wife swap of 09. Lots of politicians are accused of being in bed with lobbyists but Angry Anthony takes it to a whole new level.

Why Did Obama Win a Second Term

Election night a commentator was drawing circles around all the areas in Ohio that Obama had to win big. It dawned on me that every Obama area was the area where there were jobs. I started checking and comparing other areas and it holds out. Richer areas with a positive job market vote Blue. Poorer areas where it is much tougher to find a job vote red.
Here in the DC Area we are at nearly full employment and this area voted overwhelmingly for Obama Recently a boss moved my seat over my protest. Two weeks later I was sitting in a new office for a different company for $20,000.00 per year more. To say the job market is Hot Hot Hot is an understatement. But back home in Williamsport Pa. the situation is very different. If you have a job you thank God and you can live well for half of what it costs in the Baltimore Washington area. But if you lose your job you may be in very deep trouble. Needless to say Romney won big in Williamsport.
People who call themselves Conservative often suggest that poor people and welfare mooches elect Obama. That is not really the case. Look at the election map. Working people confidant that the system works elected Obama. The Red voters are less sure of their future and realize just how tenuous is their grasp of financial security. If this is not true then tell me why 30 years ago Philadelphia voted heavily Democratic and the wealthy white suburbs Bucks, Delaware, Chester and Montco voted solidly Republican. But now Philadelphia and all its suburbs are in the Blue camp. Are college Professors mostly Dems because they are God-Hating Pinko Comies or is it because they have tenure they feel financially secure. Now I will grant that some of them are God-Hating Pinko Comies but it is bigger than the stereotypes can account for.
I am a Christian a Conservative and a Democrat with a wife and children that I love. I am slightly to the right of Barry Goldwater who if he were alive today would be derided as a RINO and would be driven from the Republican Party like Arlen Spector was.
